Cross-cut test (grid test) multi-blade cutter
A multi-blade cutter that can cut the coating in one go. Cross-cut tests can be performed easily, quickly, and accurately.
This is used for the cross-cut test to evaluate the adhesion and bonding strength of coatings. Similar to a cross-hatch cutter, it can make six or eleven cuts in the coating at once. By using a multi-blade cutter, the cross-cut test, which used to take time and effort, can be performed quickly and accurately. The blades are available with 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, and 1.5mm spacing. Since the main body is common for all, you can simply replace the blades to conduct tests with different spacings or grid patterns, making it cost-effective and very convenient. All cuts are made cleanly. The spare blade has eight edges (cutting angles), allowing tests to be conducted with eight new blades by rotating the cutter. There is a simple set that includes the main body, cutter, and a hex wrench for blade replacement in a dedicated paper box, as well as a complete kit that includes a lighted magnifying glass, brush, and adhesive tape, all housed in a dedicated case.
